Burkina Faso international Ahmed Toure express readiness to play for Hearts of Oak

Burkina Faso and former Asante Kotoko striker Ahmed Toure has expressed his readiness to play for Hearts of Oak in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.

Toure, who is eager to wear the colours of the Rainbow club has not yet received any offer from the club despite reports that he has agreed to join the Phobians in the coming days.

Speaking in an interview with Kumasi-based station Ashh FM, the Burkinabe forward said, "It's not true that I am in talks with Accra Hearts of oak. None of the management hasn't call me yet but I heard the news on social media. I'm ever ready to play for Hearts if they present an offer."

On his return to the Ghana Premier League, he added, "I'm excited the Ghana Premier League has bounce back. I will be very happy to play in the Ghana Premier League again."

The 32-year-old was named the best player in the 2010/11 Ghana Premier League.
