Head coach of the Black Stars, Charles Kwabla Akonnor has lavished praises on Daniel Amartey following his outstanding performance for Leicester City in their 5-2 win over Manchester City in the English Premier League on Sunday.
The Ghana international lasted the entire duration and had an impressive performance for his side.
Amartey last played for the Foxes on 27 October 2018 when he lasted the entire duration in the 1-1 home draw with West Ham United and has made his first Premier League appearance for the club in 23 months.
However, C.K Akonnor who was impressed with the performance of the Ghanaian defender took to social media to commend him on his return to active football.
Daniel Amartey’s Leicester are now sitting top of the English Premier League table after the big win on Sunday.
