CAF Champions League: Frimpong Manso explains why it is important for Medeama to beat Young Africans

Ghanaian football legend Frimpong Manso has explained why Medeama must beat Young Africans in the CAF Champions League third group game.

The Yellow and Mauve will host the Tanzanian giants on Friday, December 8, 2023 at the Baba Yara Stadium. After two games, Medeama find themselves in 3rd position, level on points with CR Belouizdad who they beat last Friday.

Young Africans, who are bottom on the table with just a point are in search of their first win in the group after losing and drawing one in their first two games.

But Manso, who recently ended his stay with Bofoakwa Tano has urged Medeama to beat Young Africans to better their chances of progressing from the group.

“They (Medeama) have won their first game and they come up against Yanga. When they win, they get 6 points and will resume their campaign with a trip to Yanga who will have one point at the time. So, for Medeama, it’s very important to get the win on Friday which will help them so much.”
