Ahead of their CAF Champions League second group game against CR Belouizdad on Friday, December 1, 2023, Medeama SC will pay a courtesy call on His Royal Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II on Thursday at the Manhyia Palace.

The call is to seek blessings from the overlord of the Ashanti Kingdom before their crucial game against the Algerian champions.

The Yellow and Mauves will play host to CR Belouizdad at the Baba Yara Stadium this Friday as they seek to bounce back to winning ways following early group stage setback.

The Ghanaian champions succumbed to a 3-0 defeat to giants Al Ahly in their group opener last Saturday at the Al Salam Stadium in Cairo.

On the hand, CR Belouizdad are brimming with confidence and excitement ahead of the encounter following their resounding 3-0 win over Young Africans of Tanzania.

Anticipation is building as both teams set their sights on securing maximum points in the upcoming clash.

CR Belouizdad arrived at the Kotoka International Airport on Tuesday evening and will embark on a trip to Kumasi where the game will be played on Wednesday morning.
