CAF Champions League: The focus is mainly on the match against Yanga tomorrow - Medeama coach Evans Adotey

Ahead of the CAF Champions League showdown against Young Africans of Tanzania, Medeama coach Evans Adotey remains resolute, steering his team's attention away from denied access to the training venue.

Instead, his unwavering focus lies squarely on the pivotal match against Yanga scheduled for tomorrow.

Despite facing obstacles, Adotey expressed confidence in his team's ability to overcome challenges, emphasizing that their sights are firmly set on securing a positive result.

Speaking ahead of the encounter at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Miburani ward of Temeke District on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, Adotey underscored the importance of maintaining composure and concentrating on the task at hand.

"I am not looking at this situation. The focus is mainly on the match against Yanga tomorrow. I hope by close of today, I will have a place to train. Because after traveling, we haven’t trained the whole day," he said.

"It looks something intimidating if we are unable to train today too. I have brushed it off and focused on ensuring we get back in there and get the needed result," he added.

The first leg in Ghana saw both teams locked in a gripping 1-1 draw, setting the stage for a compelling second leg clash.
