Salitas FC defender, Polo Nartey says he is looking forward to a win for the team in the encounter against Ashanti Gold SC in the CAF Confederations Cup.
On Monday, November 9, 2020, CAF confirmed after a draw that the Ghana giants and the top-flight outfit from Burkina Faso will face off in the preliminary stage of the Confederations Cup.
Speaking to Ashh FM today, Ghana left-back Polo Nartey who plays for Salitas FC has expressed optimism in the chances of his team defeating Ashanti Gold SC on the matchday.
“This is my first year in this team but I have a lot of experience in this league. I was very happy when I heard we are going to play against Ashgold.
“I know Ghanaians to be the best when it comes to football, they play good football and we also play good football too so it will be very exciting and interesting playing with a team from Ghana in the shape of Ashanti Gold,” the former New Edubiase defender said.
According to Polo Nartey, Salitas FC boasts of very good players and will be able to see off Ashanti Gold SC over the scheduled two legs.
