Dreams FC have departed Ghana for Cairo ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup semifinals first leg against Zamalek.

The Ghanaian FA Cup holders will be hoping to continue their impressive run in the competition by reaching the finals of the competition.

Dreams FC are enjoying a remarkable campaign in their first-ever participation in a continental championship.

Ahead of the crucial first-leg encounter, Dreams FC have left Ghana for Egypt this morning, in a bid to acclimatize and fine-tune their strategy for what promises to be an intense battle on the continental stage.

The Dawu-based club reached the last four of the competition after edging out Stade Malien in the quarterfinals.

Zamalek will host the Ghanaian club on Sunday in the first leg before the second leg in Kumasi in a fortnight time.
