CAF Confederations Cup: Dreams FC depart Ghana on Wednesday ahead of Club Africain clash

Dreams FC have departed Ghana for Tunisia ahead their CAF Confederations Cup group stage opener against giants, Club Africain.

The Ghana FA Cup champions are away to Club Africain and are aiming for a positive results in their opening game.

The Still Believe lads secured qualification to the group stage of the competition for the first time in the club’s history edging out Milo FC and Kallon FC in the preliminary round.

In their remarkable journey to the group stages, Dreams FC overcame the challenges posed by Milo FC and Kallon FC. Their victory against Milo FC from Guinea came after drawing 1-1 in the first leg and securing a crucial 2-1 win at home. In an equally challenging encounter, Dreams FC managed to maintain their 2-1 lead from the first leg against Sierra Leone's Kallon FC, resulting in a 1-1 draw in the return fixture.

The Ghana FA Cup champions are paired in Group C for the Confederations Cup group phase. Aside Club Africain, Dreams FC will also face Academica do Lobito and Rivers United.
