The Black Meteors of Ghana have this afternoon trained in Kumasi as part of preparations for the weekend’s clash against their counterpart from Mozambique.

The Ghana U23 national team was in Maputo over the weekend and recorded an important 2-1 win in the first leg of the tie in the qualifiers for the TotalEnergies CAF U-23 Championship.

Having arrived in Ghana on Tuesday, the Black Meteors on Wednesday trained at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Earlier this morning, the team led by Coach Ibrahim Tanko moved camp from Accra to Kumasi.

In the afternoon, the team returned to training as players were taken through various drills.

Coach Ibrahim Tanko and his assistants are working with the squad to ensure the team secures the needed result on Sunday, October 30.

Avoiding a defeat against Mozambique will see Ghana’s Black Meteors advance to the next stage of the qualifiers.
