Celtic have won their first silverware of the new season, beating Aberdeen 1-0 in the Scottish League Cup final at Hampden Park.
The seventh domestic trophy of Brendan Rodgers time at Celtic Park was won in first half stoppage time with a goal from Ryan Christie.

Celtic had the majority of chances and did have a penalty to try and extend their lead but found Joe Lewis on form in the Aberdeen net.
Celtic almost took the lead on six minutes, Tom Rogic hitting the woodwork with a shot which had Lewis beaten.
The game was delayed by a clash of heads involving Gary Mackay-Steven and Dedryck Boyata and, in the time added on at the end of the first half, Celtic took the lead, Boyata sending in a long ball which found Ryan Christie who fired home.
Celtic should have increased their lead five minutes into the second half when they were awarded a penalty, Dominic Ball adjudged to have handled the ball inside the area.
Aberdeen disputed the decision and they felt justice was done when Scott Sinclair's penalty was well saved by Lewis to keep the score at 1-0.
The Dons hit the woodwork themselves on the hour mark, Jozo Simunovic attempting a clearance which came off the crossbar, his own keeper Scott Bain helpless to intervene.
Aberdeen keeper Lewis then had to be at his best once again to keep out a shot from Odsonne Edouard. At the other end Aberdeen couldn't find the breakthrough and Celtic held on for the win.
So it was another trophy for Rodgers, the first of the season and they are on their way towards an unprecedented "treble treble".
He said afterwards: "I feel very satisfied. Of all the trophies we've won this is probably the most satisfying because it wasn't an easy start to the season for us.
"We played against a tough team today at the end of a tough week and the players came through to show that mentality, strength and talent."
Celtic are 1/1 to win the Scottish FA Cup with Rangers 4/1 and Aberdeen 10/1.
