Charles Kwarteng who was the Chief Commercial Officer for Accra Hearts of Oak is suing the club over unpaid allowances at the Accra High Court according to reports.

Charles Kwarteng resigned from his position at the club last season following a great season on the field.

Some of the reliefs sought by Charles Kwarteng are payment of his salary arrears beginning in 2019, as well as payment of his entitlements following his resignation from the club.

He is also requesting the payment of his SSNIT contributions as well as the payment of his tier 2 pension contribution, which he has not received in two years.

Kwarteng took the dispute to the GFA's Player Status Committee, but they refused to rule, alleging that Mr. Kwarteng did not have a verified employment contract with the club.

This result led him to take the Phobians to court in order to seek justice.
