Check out the list of 8 players recruited by Ashgold ahead of Africa campaign

Obuasi Ashanti Gold SC has recruited as many as 8 new players to bolster the squad of the team ahead of their participation in the CAF Confederations Cup competition.

Following the cancelation of the Ghanaian 2019/2020 football season as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has selected the Obuasi-based club to represent the country in CAF’s second-tier inter club competition.

In a bid to ensure they make a good account of themselves, the club has been very busy in the transfer market.

So far, they have made 8 new signings to give the team a squad boost for the challenge that lies ahead.

They have signed Annor and Kwame Moses from Ghana Premier League side Bechem United as well as Ebusua Dwarfs midfielder Stephen Bentil.

In addition, they have also secured the services of Liberty Professionals man Micheal Ennu as well as GMC Academy star Matthew Agama.

There is also veteran players Hans Kwofie and Nathaniel Asamoah whose signatures have been secured on a free transfer.

Ashanti Gold SC is confident the addition of these players will help in their journey in the next edition of the CAF Confederations Cup.

Meanwhile, they have also lost the services of Shafiu Mumuni, James Akaminko, Latif Anabila, Emmanuel Osei Baffour, Stephen Owusu Banahene, Mubarik Yusif, Eric Donkor and Frank Boateng.
