Chelsea defender Matt Miazga is happy to be returning to Vitesse Arnhem for the new season.
The USA international has joined Vitesse on a 12-month loan.
"Because I'm from the United States, I need even more of a good European base, playing a lot of matches, gaining experience. And by reaching the Europa League, we're at a higher level," Miazga said of his return.
"Of course there were opportunities at other clubs, but Vitesse was always in the picture," explained Miazga. "It's also important to me not to become a club hopper. Playing everywhere, starting a summer every summer, I do not want to do that.
"With this choice, I have continuity."
