Chelsea Trio Pick Up Clean Sweep of Monthly Awards After Fine November

Chelsea have been rewarded for a fine November with a clean sweep of Premier League awards.


Antonio Conte picked up the Manager of the Month award aftermasterminding wins over Everton, Middlesbrough and Tottenham, while Diego Costa's two goals and two assists were enough to see him scoop the Player of the Month award. Pedro also got in on the act, claiming the Goal of the Month prize for his stunning effort against Spurs during their 2-1 win.

With title rivals around them dropping points Chelsea continued their ascent to the top of the Premier League table, with Conte picking up the managers awardfor a second consecutive month.


A change in formation has proved instrumental in reviving Chelsea's patchyearly season form, with the club conceding just twice in their last eight league games, scoring 22 goals during the process.


Diego Costa's form sees him joint top of the scoring charts in the league alongside Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez with 11 strikes each. The Spaniard has been instrumental in Chelsea's recent games, leading the line with his trademark angsty attitude and clinical finishing while allowing the likes of Eden Hazard and Pedro to flourish alongside him.

Pedro earned his award thanks to his curling strike against Spurs. With the game heading towards half-time, the former Barcelona winger cut onto his right foot before whistling an effort past an outstretched Hugo Lloris for the equaliser. Chelsea went on to win the game thanks to Victor Moses' close range finish.


Chelsea are three points clearof Arsenal atthe top of thePremier League, and entertain West Brom on Sunday.
