English-born Ghanaian winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is on the verge of putting pen to paper to sign a new and improved £180k-a-week contract, reports have revealed.

This comes as a piece of good news for the English Premier League giants who have been looking to tie down the highly-rated teenager to ward off the interest of clubs.

Odoi enjoyed a successful season with the Blues last season and caught the eye of many with his impressive campaign in the Uefa Europa league which the club eventually lifted.

Following several failed attempts by German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich to sign the attacker, he has now taken the decision to commit his future to Chelsea.

Though former head coach Maurizio Sarri failed to convince him to extend his contract, reports indicate that new boss Frank Lampard has succeeded in changing his mind.

Callum Hudson-Odoi is now set to sign a new five-year deal that will see him earning a £180,000-a-week.

Meanwhile, it is understood that other youngsters, Tammy Abraham, Reece James, and Fikayo Tomori are all up for contract extensions.
