Ghana assistant coach Didi Dramani has spoken highly of Black Stars new coach, Chris Hughton as he set to take charge of his first game next week.

The former Brighton manager was appointed last month to replace Otto Addo, who resigned after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

He will be assisted by Didi Dramani and George Boateng who also served under Otto Addo.

In an interview, the former Asante Kotoko coach described Chris Hughton as a unifier, who brings continuity and advancement to the team.

“No matter what I talk about his philosophy, it has nothing to do with peoples thought. What I will talk about Chris is that, he is a unifier, brings people together and his openness of other peoples’ view is huge and this alone is of the type of manager he is. He still brings about continuity and advancement of the team” he said.

Hughton will be unveiled on Monday, March 20 together with his assistants ahead of the AFCON qualifier against Angola.

The four-time African champions will play host to Angola on March 23 at the Baba Yara Stadium before the reverse fixture in Luanda on March 27.

The Black Stars lead Group E of the qualifiers with four points, followed by Angola who are also on four points before Central African Republic and Madagascar follow in that order.
