Chris Hughton's contract was sent to the Premier League Coaches Association's legal team - Henry Asante Twum

Henry Asante Twum spokesman for Ghana Football Association has revealed that Chris Hughton's contract was sent to the Premier League Coaches Association's legal team.

According to Mr. Twum the Ghana FA did that because Chris Hughton is a member of the Premier League Coaches Association and per their rules, they have to see his contract.

Mr. Twum added that the Premier League Coaches Association's legal team made some recommendations and the Ghana Football Association also made some changes to the contract.

Chris Hughton will be officially unveiled in Kumasi ahead of Ghana's game against Angola. His unveiling delayed due to the death of Chris Hughton's father.

"The one year purported contract with him is not true. Every coach that has coached in the EPL is a member of the Premier League Coaches Association and per their rules our contract was referred to the Premier League Coaches Association's legal team in England to look through and get back to us," he told Kessben Sports

"They made some recommendations and we also made some changes and that was it. At his unveiling in Kumasi, more light will be thrown on that,"
