Nana Sechere, the agent of Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu, has revealed a new strategy aimed at aiding the search for the 31-year-old footballer whose whereabouts remain unknown following two devastating earthquakes that hit Turkey.

During an interview with Turkish outlet Haber Global, Sechere disclosed the strategy from Atsu's badly hit apartment site.

Sechere, together with Atsu's brother and sister, are presently in Hatay, anxiously waiting for news on the player's whereabouts, and the agent has stated that a new strategy is being implemented to assist in the search for the former Chelsea footballer.

“We want his photo to be sent to hospitals. Maybe he came out of the rubble after the earthquake…maybe people did not know Atsu.

"Anyone who sees him should contact us. We want to find him."

The death toll resulting from the earthquake had risen to over 35,000 in Turkey.

The situation remains uncertain, and there are hopes that Atsu is located safe and sound soon.
