Ghana Premier League side, Aduana Stars thrashed lower-tier side Amasu FC 10-2 on Wednesday afternoon during a friendly match.

The Dormaa-based club in the first round of the 2020/2021 Ghanaian top-flight league season impressed but displayed inconsistent form in key moments.

Geared up for the second round of the Ghana Premier League campaign, Aduana Stars have recently appointed experienced tactician Asare Bediako as their new head coach.

Preparing his team for the challenge ahead, the gaffer has been in camp with players and decided to play a friendly match today.

In a game against Amasu FC played at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park, Aduana Stars excelled with a delightful performance as they made light work of the opponent.

On the matchday, Bright Agyei, Ekow Nana, Sam Adams, and Benjamin Tweneboah all scored twice while Nathan Kwasi and Emmanuel Osei Baffour also contributed with a goal each to power Aduana Stars to the big win.

The Dormaa-based club is expected to play a few friendly matches before facing Hearts of Oak on April 2 when the Ghana Premier League campaign resumes.
