Clubs have been expressing interest in Kudus Mohammed since World Cup - Agent

The agent of Kudus Mohammed, Jennifer Mendeleswitsch has revealed that there has been interest from clubs since the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Following his exploits in the Mundial and in the Eredivisie, Kudus has courted serious interest from Newcastle United, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United.

Reports in the Netherlands suggest that the 22-year-old could possibly play his final game for Ajax when the Dutch giant takes on FC Twente on Sunday.

“He has ignored a proposal to extend his contract until the summer of 2026. What I can say is that after the World Cup and this season, there is a lot of interest in Kudus” Mendeleswitsch said.

Kudus impressed at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar where he scored two goals and added an assist in three games. His brace in a 3-2 win for Ghana over South Korea earned him the Man of the Match Award.

He has 18 goals and six assists in 41 games in all competitions for Ajax this season with the Dutch side missing out on successfully defending the Eredivisie title.
