Coach Benjamin Hayford has confirmed his exit from Sekondi Hasaacas following the cancellation of the 2019/20 football season because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Hayford joined the club in February 2020 with an option to extend the contract and was tasked to secure top-flight qualification for the club in the 2019/2020 Division One League season.
However, the cancellation of the current season means his contract with the club has automatically ended.
"I was contracted to coach the team till the end of the 2019/20 Ghana Division One Football League season so once the league has been cancelled due to COVID 19, my contract has elapsed," he told Kingdom FM.
"My doors are now opened to any football club who will come with good offer. My contract ended immediately the league was cancelled."
The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) cancelled the 2019/20 football season following a marathon meeting.
