The Black Maidens forward has been on blistering form in the World Cup qualifiers, scoring seven times in three games.

The Captain of the Black Maidens scored a brace against Djibouti last Friday but Coach Adotey believes Mukarama’s form is down to the entire team effort.

“I won’t give all the praises to her alone, it’s a team effort. And with the team we start attack from the back, the buildup starts from one or two persons bfore it gets to the one who provides the assists for Mukarama to score,” he said.

“So whiles we praise her (Mukarama), we praise the entire team too. I won’t select just one person to praise but everybody has their duty and they are doing well with their responsibility. Yes, she is doing well but they all deserve some credit,” he added.

The Black Maidens have made a huge step closer to making another world cup appearance after beating Djibouti 9-0 in the first leg of the qualifiers at their own back yard.
