Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum gears up for Kotoko vs Samartex game after a positive meeting with Otumfuo

The head coach of Asante Kotoko, Prosper Narteh Ogum has been given the nod to continue in the role by the owner of the club, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

In the last few weeks, there have been calls from fans for the coach to be sacked due to a series of bad results.

Under the leadership of the coach, Asante Kotoko has lost sex games in the last seven matches and won just once in the last 10 outings.

Fans have described the results as unacceptable and demanded the sacking of coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.

Today, Club Owner and Life Patron, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II had a meeting with the coaching staff, players, and the Interim Management Committee (IMC).

At the meeting, Otumfuo gave the coach his vote to continue in his role and charged the team to work hard to turn things around.

As a result, Coach Ogum will be in the dugout this weekend when Asante Kotoko hosts Samartex FC in the Ghana Premier League at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
