Competition in Black Stars will help team to improve – Thomas Partey

Black Stars poster boy, Thomas Teye Partey has noted that the competition in the national team will help the team to improve.

The highly-rated midfielder joined the camp of the Ghana senior male national team on Tuesday evening and subsequently joined the team for a first training session on Wednesday afternoon.

Having studied the team, Thomas Partey has identified competition in the current team. According to him, the competition is good and will help the team to further improve.

"We are having a good competition in the team; all the guys are training well. I think this will help the team to improve, everyone will be on their feet trying to win the heart of the Coach and also give more pressure on those that think that they are comfortable, it will energise them to be on their toes to fight to maintain their place in the team", Thomas Partey said as quoted on the GFA website.

The midfielder joined Arsenal on transfer deadline day and will be joining the English Premier League club after Ghana's friendly games against Mali and Qatar.
