The Ghana Premier League of the 2022/23 season garnered mixed reviews, but according to the President of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Kudjoe Fianoo, it was far from a disappointment.
Fianoo asserted that the league displayed a commendable level of competitiveness, debunking any notions of a lackluster campaign.
"It is not bad the season is ok this year hooliganism is not some few isolated cases. Complaints about officiating have come down getting to the end of the league there was this competition those trying to win the league those trying to avoid relegation," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com
"It took the last day before we got the team who won the league and those that were relegated so competitively it is not bad. Looking at the challenges that the clubs faced financially because if they allowed the finances to worry them like the league will be in trouble,"
"The little that the GFA did the clubs hard work vis a vis income generation I will say we have done well,"
