The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that the encounter between King Faisal and Legon Cities FC will be played at the Len Clay Sports Stadium in Obuasi on Thursday, February 20, 2020.

The two clubs are billed for a Match Week 11 fixture of the ongoing 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season in midweek where they will be fighting for 3 points to improve their standings on the division.

In a clash that was set to be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, it has now been moved to the Len Clay Sports Stadium. The decision became necessary following a directive from the National Sports Authority on Monday which indicated that the Baba Yara Stadium has been close down for renovation.

A letter from the Ghana FA to confirm the date in change in venue for the King Faisal-Legon Cities FC match said: “The Ghana Football Association Competition Department wishes to inform you that due to the closure of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the above-mentioned fixture would be played at the Len Clay Stadium on Thursday 20th February 2020 at 3 pm”.
