Head Coach for the Congo senior soccer national team, Candido Valdo has handed a maiden call-up to Hearts of Oak’s impressive left-back Raddy Ovouka ahead of the country’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Eswatini.
Congo has been scheduled to take on Eswatini in a double-header encounter in the group phase of the qualifiers to the 2021 AFCON later this month.
Ahead of the team’s camping, coach Candido Valdo has announced his 23-man squad. The squad includes Raddy Ovouka who is enjoying a stellar campaign in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
This is the first call-up the defender has receive and he will hope to make good use of it to ensure he cements a place in the team.
