Clottey filed a case to the court in August, to compel the Porcupine Warriors to pay the $180,000 fine slapped on him by FIFA as a result of his contact violation against Tunisian club Espérance Sportive de Tunis.

He joined Kotoko in 2015 but didn’t see off his contract due to the FIFA ban.

Espérance had a running contract with Clottey before being registered by Asante Kotoko.

He featured for only 30 minutes for the Kumasi based side in a Premier League match and was found guilty.

Kotoko recently struck a deal with Esperance to finally settle the debt which rose $240,000.
