German-born Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng will stay under quarantine for up to 14 days when he returns to Turkey from Italy to link up with his teammates.

The forward joined Besiktas on a 6-month loan deal from Italian Serie A club Fiorentina in the winter transfer window.

Though the Covid-19 crisis forced him into self-isolation together with his wife and son in Istanbul, he later received the clear to travel to Italy where he has been for the last few weeks.

According to reports, KP Boateng is about to be recalled to return to Turkey as Besiktas prepare to return to training.

It is understood that the manager for the Black and White Emre Kocadağ sent a message to the players who traveled from Turkey that read "Be ready".

If the players are to return, they will all be quarantined for 14 days to ensure it is safe to allow them to join their teammates.
