Craiova executive compares Edjouma to Samuel Asamoah

Marcel Puscas, the executive director of the FC U Craiova squad, compared Malcom Edjouma, the 25-year-old French defensive midfielder who joined FCSB from FC Botosani, to Oltenia's Samuel Asamoah, the 28-year-old Ghanaian midfielder.

Although Malcom Edjouma is yet to play for FCSB, Marcel Puscas believes that Samuel Asamoah is a more useful player than the one transferred by the red-blues this winter.

The Oltenian official defended his comments by examining the two footballers' credentials.

"There were voices in the fall who kept saying that the group is weak, the group has no value, the players have no value, but we made some comparisons. This Asamoah has about 220 matches in the Belgian first league, while this Edjouma, before coming to Botosani, played about 9 matches in the French third league, at Red Star, and about 9 at Chambly, also in the third league. Well, you can't compare Asamoah's CV with Edjouma's CV ", said Marcel Puscas, according to GSP.
