Criticism motivates me - Cosmos Dauda

Beleaguered Accra Hearts of Oak forward Cosmos Dauda says he has adjusted to the criticisms labeled at him this season.

The former Mighty Jets striker has struggled to command a starting role under coach Frank Nuttal.

Cosmos Dauda who was the club’s leading scorer last season after scoring twelve goals has failed to open his account this season. The striker came under heavy scrutiny for a lethargic performance against Tema Youth which the Phoobians lost 2-1.

However, the strong forward bounced back strongly to put up an outstanding display against fierce rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko. Dauda came on as a substitute and was a handful for the Kotoko defenders.

“Criticism is part of the game and when it comes it depends on how you take it. I know so many people are disappointed by my output this recent season and it can only motivate me to come out stronger than before,” he said.

According to the striker, he has the strength in mentality to handle his current situation.

“I feel in a progressive part of my career and I am standing up for the challenge. And I’m hoping to turn results around too.”

Cosmos Dauda is looking at bettering his record for the season.
