Former Manchester United and Arsenal star Robin van Persie is wanted back in England by Frank de Boer's Crystal Palace.
The Mirror says Van Persie currently plays for Turkish giants Fenerbahce but is looking for an escape route this summer.
The 33-year-old has already been offered to the likes of Stoke and West Ham but the duo turned down the opportunity to sign the Premier League winner.
But Palace are ready to offer him one last swansong in the top flight of English football.
De Boer believes Van Persie will prove an important figure in the dressing room and his experience could prove vital in what could be a tough campaign.
The striker has spent the previous two seasons in Turkey scoring 25 league goals in total.
