Crystal Palace offer Black Stars striker Jordan Ayew new contract

Black Stars striker Jordan Ayew has been given a new contract by Premier League club Crystal Palace recognizing his efforts displayed this season.

Jordan Ayew played 31 Premier League games for Crystal Palace this season. The 30-year-old striker scored three goals in the Premier League and assisted three.

The former Swansea City striker was part of the team that helped Ghana book a ticket to the 2022 World Cup which will be held in Qatar.

Jordan Ayew also played in Ghana's 3-0 win over Madagascar in the Afcon 2023 qualifier match which was played on Wednesday at the Cape Coast Stadium.

This season despite not scoring often in the Premier League Crystal Palace coach Patrick Vieira has praised the striker's work rate and teamwork.

The former Olympique de Marseille academy product has previously featured for Lorient, Aston Villa, Swansea City, and Sochaux.
