Former Black Stars goalkeepers trainer, Abubakari Damba says he is impressed with the quality of goalkeepers in the national team.

According to Damba, this has not been the case in the past but currently the tussle between Adam Kwarasey and Razak Braimah for the starting slot is healthy for the team.

He also praised third choice young goalie Richard Ofori for being a competent understudy to the senior players.

“Even though we have had challenges in the past ,I think there is a balance now. We have Kwarasey who is the most experienced among the three, Braimah who has been our first choice recently and a young budding talent in Ofori who is understudying the two experienced players.

"We have the balance now and I like the competition in the team”.

However, Damba declined to mention who is the best among the trio.
