Attacker Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has expressed his excitement after FC Zurich beat Grasshoppers in a derby encounter on Sunday afternoon.
Barnieh who was an unused substitute took to his official Facebook page to share his excitement.
In the game yesterday, the home side scored first after Renat Dadashov was brought down in the penalty area. The striker immediately took the ball himself and netted it confidently scored to grab the lead for Grasshoppers.
The equalizer came in the 66th minute: Tosin Ayiegun was served in the middle and pushed the ball in to make it 1-1. And it got even worse for the Hoppers: In the 74th minute. Tosin scored again in the second minute and gave the guests the lead.
The Hoppers had 15 minutes until the final whistle, to find an equalizer but they failed to score.
Daniel Afriyie Barnieh's FC Zurich is 8th on the league table with 23 points.
