Daniel Agyei aiming for Ghana Premier League return with the right offer

U-20 World Cup winner, Daniel Agyei has disclosed he is open to return to the Ghana Premier League with the right offer.

The former Medeama SC shotstopper has spent the last four seasons in Ethiopia with different clubs.

He has plated for Wolaitta Dicha which he joined this month as a free agent.

“I will also love to play for any club in Ghana," he told GhOne TV.

“If they meet my standard and I also meet their request.

“Because I like to do things where both part will agree on," he added.

His last club prior to joining Wolaitta Dicha was Mekele Kenema where he spent just a season.

He also had stints with Sebeta for the 2019/2020 League.

He started his Ethiopian journey with Jimma Aba Jifar where he won the league and player of the season in the 2017/18 season.

Agyei began his professional career with Ghana based Liberty Professionals before a move to Free State Stars of South Africa.

He returned home after his South African sojourn to feature for former club, Liberty Professionals before joining fellow premier league side, Medeama SC.

He joined Tanzanian club, Simba SC on the expiration of Medeama contract before the beginning of the Ethiopian journey.

Daniel Agyei was in goal when Andre Ayew captained Ghana’s U-20 team to win 2009 FIFA World Cup in Egypt.
