In a thrilling showdown at Gaughan Group Stadium, English-born Ghanaian striker Daniel Agyei showcased his scoring prowess for Leyton Orient in a gripping encounter against Bolton Wanderers.

Daniel Agyei started the game and lasted 87 minutes.

The game began with a cagey start for Orient as Theo Archibald fired a 30-yard free-kick at goal, which visiting goalkeeper Nathan Baxter got his hands behind.

At the 20-minute mark, Orient threatened once more through Shaq Forde, who curled a left-footed effort off target from within the box. Meanwhile, the visitors' best chance of the first 30 minutes came from a counterattack on the left, which ended with Dan Happe heading a cross from Victor Adeboyejo to safety.

The first half ended goalless and both teams headed to the dressing room.

In the 54th minute, Agyei was put through cleanly by a lucky loose Bolton ball he hit a confident shot into the bottom corner.

The 26-year-old has made ten appearances, scored three goals, and assisted one in League One this season.
