Daniel Amartey will be unveiled this week, says Besiktas chief

Sporting Director of Besiktas, Ceyhun Kazancı has confirmed that Daniel Amartey will be unveiled this week.

The Ghana defender has signed a three-year deal with the Turkish giants as reported by Footballghana.com last week.

Amartey joined the side after parting ways with Leicester City following the expiration of his contract.

Sporting director Ceyhun Kazancı has now confirmed that his outfit will be announcing the signing of the 28-year-old together with Russian international Daler Kuzyaev this week, telling a press conference via Fanatik.

"We've made progress on Daler Kuzyaev and Daniel Amartey. Both players will be announced this week.

"We are trying to complete the transfers," he added.

Before ending his long-term marriage with the King Power Stadium outfit, he made over 106 appearances in the English Premier League since arriving from Denmark in 2016.

Armatey so far has 48 international caps for Ghana at the senior national team level, the Black Stars.
