Asante Kotoko defender Augustine Agyapong says he is proud to have don the club’s jersey.
The Black Galaxies right-back joined the Porcupine Warriors in 2021 and has since established himself as a key cog to the club.
He helped the club to annex the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League title in his first season.
After two-year spell at the club, the enterprising right-back has shared his excitement to have worn Kotoko’s jersey.
“It’s not easy to wear a Kotoko jersey. It’s not simple so you feel proud in a Kotoko jersey. It’s not easy because every team with a large support base is tough to play for. It’s not that simple. It’s a big and huge club so when you are in there you will understand.” He said.
Agyapong featured 23 times in the Ghana Premier League, scoring 2 goals and provided 4 assists.
