Ghanaian defender Isaac Donkor was sent off in Sakaryaspor's 3-1 defeat to Altay in the Turkish top flight at the Izmir Atatürk Stadium.
With Isaac Donkor receiving a red card for a professional handball in the 23rd minute, Altay striker Marco Paixao did not make a mistake in the 26th minute from the penalty spot.
Oğuz Yıldırım grabbed the equalizer for 10 men Sakaryaspor after receiving a pass from Burak Suleyman in the 30th minute.
As the first 45 minutes ended, the Izmir-based team got three points with the goals they found in the second half.
The Black and White team, under the management of Tuna Üzümcü, won 3-1 from the field with goals from Zeki Yıldırım in the 50th minute and Ceyhun Gülselam in the 64th minute. This win was their second victory in a row and it propel them to the 12th position with 31 points.
