The Black Stars left-back joined the Spanish La Liga club on a season-long loan move from Portuguese giants Sporting CP prior to the 2019/2020 season.

Since his arrival, he has performed very well and could have even contributed more if not for some injury setbacks he has faced.

As the La Liga season remains suspended due to the Coronavirus pandemic, it is expected that the contract of Lumor Agbenyenu will expire before the season ends.

In line with that, when his deal runs out on June 30, RCD Mallorca will have to hand him an extension to keep him for the extra time.

According to sources of footballghana.com, the technical team of the club has informed the club to hand the Ghanaian an extension that will see him playing for the club on another loan spell next season.
