Defender Nurudeen Abdulai named player of the month for February at Medeama

Nurudeen Abdulai, a defender for Medeama SC, has been awarded the team's Player of the Month for the second time this year after receiving the honor in January.

Ivorian footballer Jean Vital and goalkeeper Felix Kyei lost out to Abdulai for the honor.

The gifted center defender won two Man of the Match honors and dramatically improved the team's performance.

In February, Abdulai scored two more goals, bringing his total to four.

Following their 2-0 victory over Great Olympics, Tarkwa Community Mining Scheme sponsored a 32-inch LED TV for the former Cheetah FC defender.

Joshua Agyemang and Jonathan Sowah scored for Medeama SC against Accra Great Olympics at the Tarkwa T&A Park.

Medeama will play defending champions Asante Kotoko in their match week 23 game in the Ghana Premier League.

The Yellow and Mauve are sixth on the ongoing Ghana Premier League table with 34 points after 22 games.

Kwasi Donsu leads Medeama's attack with five goals.
