Defender Dennis Appiah provided an assist in Saint Etienne's 2-0 win against Pau in the French Ligue 2 at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard on Saturday evening.
Saint Etienne started the game well they had an opportunity to get a goal in the 4th minute but Mathieu Cafaro's effort from a corner was cleared.
Ibrahima Waji opened the scoring for the Greens! At the far post, the Stéphanois striker opened his foot to convert Dennis Appiah's cross into a goal.
Ibrahima Wadji almost doubled the score in the 33rd minute. After taking a ball away from the Pau defense, the attacker fired a strike that shaved the upright.
JP Krasso scored the penalty obtained by Niels Nkounkou in the 77th minute to make it 2-0.
Dennis Appiah played full throttle in the encounter against Pau.
