Ghanaian international, Derrick Luckassen has ruled out staying at PSV Eindhoven next season despite his failed transfer to Anderlecht.

The defender has been forced to spend the last two seasons on loan away from the Dutch Eredivisie due to a fall out with his parent club.

Having spent the 2019/2020 football season at Anderlecht, Derrick Luckassen managed to make an impression in the Belgian Jupiler League.

At the end of his spell, Anderlecht had hoped to secure his services on a permanent deal but couldn’t see it through due to financial challenges caused by the Coronavirus crisis.

According to the Luckassen, he has no intention of spending next season at PSV Eindhoven, especially after what he has gone through in the last two years.

“I keep all options open to myself, except going back to PSV. That is no longer an option for me”, the versatile defender said in an interview with De Telegraaf last month.

He further stressed, “I tried it there twice and it didn't work out. I don't feel at home with PSV and I have seen it there”.

This is a position he is still holding on to and sources say that his agent is in talks with some clubs over a possible transfer in the summer window.
