Done Deal: Ceramica Cleopatra FC sign Ghanaian attacker Maxwell Baakoh

Egyptian Premier League newcomers, Ceramica Cleopatra FC have signed Ghanaian attacker Maxwell Baakoh for the upcoming 2020/2021 football season.

The clever forward has not actively played competitive football for the past two years as a result of an injury he suffered while in action for Asante Kotoko in the CAF Confederations Cup competition.

Although the 25-year old has managed to recover from the injury in the past two years and had gained his full fitness, he could not get back his place in the team of the Porcupine Warriors.

As a result, Maxwell Baakoh has in the last few months been linked with a move away from Asante Kotoko in search of a side where he will have the chance to play regularly.

Following successful talks between his representatives and officials of Ceramica Cleopatra FC, he has now been signed by the club on a 3-year deal to provide a squad boost for the team.

Baakoh is joining his fellow countrymen Kwame Bonsu and Winful Cobbinah who have also been signed by the Egyptian side.
