Another player substituted by the Tigers against Southampton was young striker Will Keane. A summer signing from Manchester United, the extent of his injury is yet to be confirmed

However, the club havestatedthat there was swelling around the 23-year-old's knee after the game. The full diagnosis is expected to be released next week.

The two injuries will come as devastating newsfor Hull as they find themselves sat in the relegation zonein the Premier League table.

However, with only three points separating themselves and 15th placed Middlesbrough, Hull will be looking to the services of on-loan Dynamo Kiev strikerDieumerci Mbokani to help provide the goals now that Keane and Hernandez are out.

Mbokani, who himself has just returned from a spell on the treatment table, will be hoping to use his Premier League experience to start getting the goals Hull so desperately need.
