In a decisive meeting chaired by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, it was affirmed that Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum will retain his role as head coach of the Porcupine Warriors.

The meeting, held at Otumfuo's Manhyia residence on Tuesday, April 18, brought together players, coaching staff, and the Interim Management Committee (IMC) to address pressing issues within the club.

The discussions centered on finding solutions to the team's recent performance struggles in the Ghana Premier League. Despite recent setbacks, the decisions taken during this session are anticipated to steer the Kumasi-based club back to winning ways.

In their last five games played in the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League the Reds have lost four and drawn one.

Recent tensions saw supporters disrupting a training session, demanding Dr. Ogum's resignation. In response, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II swiftly organized an emergency meeting to address the crisis.

With renewed determination, Asante Kotoko SC now gears up to take on league leaders FC Samartex in their upcoming matchday 27 fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium, aiming to reclaim their winning form.
