Dreams FC General Manager Ameenu Shadow has confirmed his outfit will use Baba Yara Stadium home venue for the CAF Confederations Cup group phase.

The Still Believe lads secured historic qualification to the group stage of the Confederations Cup after edging out Kallon of FC from Sierra Leone.

Dreams FC initially played their qualification matches at the Accra Sports Stadium but will have to switch to the Baba Yara Stadium which is now the only approved venue in Ghana for hosting such games as revealed by Shadow.

In Group C of the competition, Dreams FC will compete against Tunisian giants Club Africain, former Nigerian champions Rivers United, and fellow debutants Academica do Lobito of Angola.

Speaking to Kessben FM monitored by Footballghana.com, Shadow said, “Baba Yara is the only sanctioned stadium per the list released by CAF so we have no other choice than to play at the Baba Yara in Kumasi”

The group phase of the Confederation Cup will begin on Sunday, November 26, 2023, through to March 3, 2024.
