In a promising update ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup semifinal clash against Egyptian powerhouse Zamalek, Dreams FC coach Karim Zito has confirmed that the team is largely injury-free.

The Ghanaian FA Cup champions are gearing up for a two-legged battle against Zamalek, with the first leg set to take place in Cairo, followed by the second leg on their home turf in Ghana.

Zito expressed that the team is in good shape, with only one player, Simba, nursing a thigh complaint following their recent match against Kotoko.

"No so far so good no only that yesterday after Kotoko game Simba complained that he feels some pain in his thigh so the doctors are working on him aside him I think everything is normal," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

Dreams FC secured their spot in the semifinals after a victorious encounter against Malian side Stade Malien.

The team is now focused on preparing for the challenging task of facing Zamalek, a team known for its dominance in African football. Despite the formidable opposition, Dreams FC remains optimistic about their chances, boosted by their impressive run in the competition so far.
