Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Brian Brobbey delivered an outstanding performance to help Ajax secure victory over RKC Waalwijk in the Dutch Eredivisie.

The 21-year-old was called to action when his outfit inflicted a 3-2 away win over their opponent in the week at the Mandemakers Stadion.

Brobbey played a pivotal role as Ajax cruised to an important victory on Wednesday night.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 30th minute through Brian Brobbey before Michiel Kramer pulled parity for the host seven minutes later.

Ajax scored to restore their lead through Steven Bergwijn, who found the back of the net from the spot as they went to recess with the advantage.

Netherlands international Yassin Oukili leveled the pegging for the home team, six minutes after recess before Ajax sealed victory through Steven Berghuis in the 57th minute.

Brobbey has been a key contributor to Ajax's campaign this season, scoring eight goals and providing three assists in 18 games across competitions.
